Five young musicians from Eger are the members of the progressive rock band VIRUS, and these members didn't change for some years after 2000. The basis, two boys, Zsolt Macsinka (guitar) and Tamás Jakab (bass guitar) are still the most important persons to keep the style of our music. In the beginning we used drums from computer, but later Gábor Bornemissza (drummer) joined to us ( after some years he was the drummer of Mantra). In the first formation Pityke was playing on the keyboard, but he travelled abroad. Later on Bea Rostás (singer) joined to the group, and the guys made their first record, a demo CD, called Első könyv (First book). Later the members changed again, László Bornemissza was playing firstly on the keyboard later on guitar, and Dénes Rózsavölgyi was the new drummer. Another formation came to life too, called VIRUS PROJECT when Gábor Balázs, Shadon got in the band bringing new, flavoring sounds, rhythms "noises", using keyboard, sampler, groovebox. But after 2006 Bea was travelling abroad more often because of her profession, and she couldn’t practice with the band so regularly. Now the singer is Peter Fónát, and one more guitarist of Virus is Pityu and recently the drummer is Unga.
